Our costume is based on the day of the dead festival. the day of the dead festival is hosted in mexico. Mexicans remember and honour their dead loved ones. it is not a sad time rather a celebration of the lives of those who have past on. they visit cemetery's and decorate the graves the belief is that the spirits return to the land of the living for 1 day of the year to be with there family's. spirits are greeted with offerings of special foods and things they enjoyed when they were alive.

Probability T3W3

This week we have been working on probability and ratio. This is what i will be working on for the week.
 

Hanmer Springs Camp

Hammer Camp 2017

When we went on Hammer Springs Camp we went to the Hot pools and we did activities such as Tree climbing, Mission impossible, Hot pools, Mounting Biking and Orienteering. 

I loved the tree climbing. First of all we had to get all clipped in and the people showed us how to be safe climbing the tree and how to b lay. I did not get  to climb to the top because I was to scared. One of my favorite activities was the mounting biking. I loved the biking because it was fun when going up and down the little hills. We went biking for just under 2 hours and it was so cool. I really liked camp It was awesome.

Weekly Reflection T2W1

This week we had to do our maths testing on maths buddy here are my results.
I need to work on measuring and telling time to get better results.

Next Week there is another league tournament at Wingham Park and our league team will be going. I am looking forward to taking part. We have a training again today and Monday, Tuesday next week.

Wekly Reflection T1W9

This week we had our maths maintenance here it is

I enjoyed it because maths is my favourite subject in class. This week in Maths I learned how to do percentages, which I understood and can solve word problems where you need to find a percentage of an amount.


We also had to bake cupcakes for the family fiesta here is a photo


I enjoyed Decorating them because I like decorating things i got the idea from google by looking up good cupcake ideas.

Weeks 1-4 Reflection

This year we have been doing our maths maintenance I found it quite easy here it is.

We also did our art here is an image of my art. We were working on blending pastels.
